Evil Ear Recording's very own podcast is 'Fish & Hip FM'. A sonic absurdity of music, sound design and comedy.
Audio for Screen

My work in sound design has translated well onto the screen and I have been happy to take on projects for animations and youtube channels.

From recording on set to overdubs, recording and sourcing foley, mixing and composition, these projects have given me all the experience necessary to complete other indie film productions.
Field Recording
I am often found stumbling through a forest with a microphone in my hand or tryinghard to find spots far from tourists so I can bring you wonderful and unique sounds from around the world.
For me, these work just as well as a photograph for bringing memories back to life. In an increasingly indoors existence these sounds bring a little nature back into our lives.
One of my current projects is to bring these sounds alongside relaxing music so people can curate their relaxation.
Soundscapes
Everywhere that I travel, I collect the sounds which are distinctive or unique to that place and then mix them together into an engaging soundscape. I often mix this in with music I have recorded or written in that place.

Here are some of the youtube videos I have created to compliment the audio. More coming soon!
Game Audio
Over the last year I have been learning how to implement
sound design into video games using Wwise software. Wwise deserve a huge pat on the back for supplying free software and tutorials online.

Now with the basics covered I am starting to enjoy constructing immersive and realistic audio-worlds into games.

This is my first attempt at soundtracking a game and hopefully I can find time to build upon what I have here.
